My mother told me that when I was a small boy, she left me out in the forest, hoping the fairies would leave a changeling in my place. Or maybe I’d be snatched by a she-wolf.
Is it any wonder I turned out a bit odd?
The truth is much more mundane. I had a very ordinary upbringing in rural England. As an adult I’ve had the good fortune to have traveled a bit, and I lived in France for a while. My current home is near Valencia in Spain. When I’m not working or writing, you’ll probably find me either exploring the region on my motorcycle or sat in one of many fine seaside hostelries around here enjoying tapas and a cold beer.

Book Reviews:
I read a variety of genres. Horror, dark fantasy, sci-fi, mysteries, thrillers, etc. I’m not really a book reviewer as such, those guys can be highly skilled and spend a lot of time on it. Occasionally though, I’ll make a short comment about something I read here.

Writing Stuff:
I’ve been traditionally published, and I’ve self-published. In these articles I share my experiences. I might also talk about the things I use (most are free) and some thoughts on marketing and promotion. Anything that occurs to me that I think might help those foolhardy enough to try this writing thing ;-).
